The burning question on everyone’s mind is why in heaven’s name did Thomas Londe Avent gave this name to his son.
The only reference to the phrase ‘Coco Mungo’ that can be found is that which refers to a military camp by that name in California that was occupied for two weeks in 1864 (four years before Coco Mungo Avent was born) by federal troops during unrest between Americans and Californians (Mexicans living in California).
