The eldest of four children, Doris was born in Iron Mountain, Mich., June 27, 1926. A 1944 graduate of North High School, Akron, Ohio, she lived and worked in California for over 40 years as a small business owner and executive secretary, retiring to Las Vegas in 1989.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 61 years, Albert A. Riccilli of Las Vegas; her daughter, Diane (Riccilli) Janovsky, son-in-law, Ted Janovsky Jr., grandsons, Gregory, Brett and Trey Janovsky of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and her sister, Lois Meyer of Orland Park, Ill.
She was preceded in her transition by her brother, Ira Avent; and sister, Adelle Zuetel, both of California.
