Mrs. Avent is survived by her husband, W. L. Avent; two daughters, Anne and Jane; two sisters, Mrs. W. F. Thompson of Macon, and Mrs. E. C. Wilder of Thomasville; two nieces, Mrs. C. D. Smith of Moultrie and Mrs. Charles H. Simpson of Cedartown; two nephews, Fredrick Thompson, Jr. of Macon and Joseph Russell Harris of Montgomery, Alabama.
