"Mrs. Flarnce Jane Avent, 67...died Wednesday in a city nursing home. She owned and operated two apartment houses in Oklahoma City for 18 years.
She was born in Fannin County, Texas, and moved to Oklahoma in 1927 and to Oklahoma City in 1948. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Luther; a daughter, Mrs. LaFlorria Sorrels...; six brothers, George Timmons, Fort Towson; Author Timmons, Ada; Lloyd Timmons, Seminole; Floyd Timmons, Phoenix, Ariz.; Elbert Timmons, Pontotoc, and Virgil Timmons, Boerne, Texas, and three sisters, Mrs. Velma Poates, Connerville; Mrs. Inez Hobbs, Oakman, and Mrs. Maud Banker, Honey grove, Texas."
