Fay was born May 6, 1949, in Dimmitt, and married Larry Gress in 1992. She was a wonderful wife, and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons and enjoyed racing. She was heavily involved in her work at Bruckner's, where she was currently employed. She will be missed very much.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Gress; two sons, Jim Gress and fiancee, Mollie Barney, and Bobby Gress and wife, Tiffany, all of Amarillo; her parents, Bill and Polly Avent of Amarillo; four sisters, Kay Tipping and husband, Bobby, Jan Burchfield and husband, Lynn, Terri Cox and husband, Chuck, all of Amarillo, and Polly Ann Gifford and husband, Ed, of Sugar Land; a brother, Jack Avent and wife, Pat, of Follett; a sister-in-law, Jane Mosier and husband, Gordon, of Terre Haute, Ind.; two grandsons, Tyler Gress and Braden Gress, both of Amarillo; nine nephews; a niece; two great-nephews; and a great-niece.
