Surviving are his wife of Yantis; two sons, Travis Aven of Arbala and Gary Aven of Yantis; two daughters, Elaine Roberson of Abilene and Sonja Gambrel of Yantis; grandchildren, Roy Roberson, Lee Roberson, Kristy Smith, Teena Roberson, Eric Gambrell, Lynette Fountain, Crockett Gambrel, Jason Long, Lisa Hanna, Lonnie Aven, Nichole Aven, Erin Aven, Anthony Aven and Frank Aven; and 12 great-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
