Mrs. Avent is survived by her husband, Harvey Avent; two sisters: Melba Terrell and husband Travis of Daingerfield and Becky Youngblood of Pittsburg; along with five brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Altie Douglas; a brother: James Douglas; and a sister: Mary Elizabeth Douglas.

Harvey retired after 40 years working in the oil field and for B&B Water Wells. He was a member of The Pittsburg Church of God. He was loved by his church family and many in the community.
Harvey is survived by his wife Tina Avent of five years; stepdaughter, Brianna Riechman and husband Mike; stepson, Austin Luman and wife Avril; step-grandchildren, Rylee, Koda, Mason, and Creedence Reichman and Amelia Luman; siblings, Orvin Avent, Joseph Avent, Joyce Wolfe, Eva Mae Poe, Grace Ellis, June Coleman, and many nieces and nephews.
