Clifton (42) lapsed into a coma from a brain aneurysm about 8 weeks before his death. He lived in Bartlett and worked for Volunteer Auto Sales in Millington.
He left one son, Jonathan (15) - who was adopted by a friend after Clifton's death; - a stepmother, Ann Avent; and a stepbrother, Frank Underwood, all of Memphis.
