ALLEN WEBSTER AVEN, 64, of Eads, manufacturer's representative, died Monday in Memphis after an apparent heart attack.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Hickory Withe (Tenn.) Presbyterian Church.
He leaves his wife, Christine R. Aven; three sons, Lt. Cmdr. Donald W. Aven of Quantico, Va., Ronald A. Aven of Memphis and Maj. W. Michael Aven of Okinawa; his mother, Mrs. Forrest W. Aven; a brother, Hunter W. Aven of Sarasota, Fla., and two grandchildren.

Christine Rhodes Aven, 102, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on April 12, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen W. Aven and she leaves behind three sons, Ronald of Memphis (Marva), Donald W. of Kingsport, TN (Cecile), and Michael of Bartlett, TN (Holly); two grandchildren, Allen M. of Knoxville, TN (Cory) and Forrest C. (Jessica) of Carol Stream, IL; three great-grandchildren, Kayla, Adeline, and Barrett. Christine was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church.
She was active in the Lions Club Auxiliary and volunteered for the Memphis Public Library. She also volunteered countless hours at Germantown Methodist Hospital.
