Edna Hood Foster, 83, of Lake Village, died August 4, 2015 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, Arkansas.

She was born April 16, 1932 in Fulton, Mississippi to the late Charlie Hood and the late Bertha (Funderburk) Hood. She was a member of the Bayou Mason Baptist Church in Lake Village, and was a homemaker.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband Junior Lee Foster, parents, Charlie and Bertha (Funderburk) Hood and son, Jerry Lee Foster.

She is survived by two sons Billy Joe Foster of Lake Village and Donnie Ray Foster of Monticello; four daughters, Carol Jean Pharr of Monticello, Judy Ann Gilliam of Lake Village, Patricia Lynn Reed of Conway, and Shelby Kay Stevens of Danville; and a sister, Vivian McMillian of Star City; 12 grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
