Carol Jean Foster Pharr, age 65 of the Mt. Tabor Community (Monticello), passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Little Rock.

She was born June 18, 1950 in Lake Village, AR to the late Junior Foster and Edna Earl Hood Foster.

She was retired Co-Owner of McGehee Auto Parts and a member of the Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Foster.

She was a 1968 graduate of Lake Village High School. Carol was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, working with flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, helping the elderly in her community and was a cleanaholic. She loved NASCAR races and going to watch David mud race. She was loved by all and will be truly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, David Pharr, Sr. of the Mt. Tabor Community; one son, David Pharr, Jr. and wife Lynsey of the Mt. Tabor community; one daughter, Tracy Wood and husband Perry of Douglas, AR; two brothers, Billy Foster and wife Linda of Lake Village and Donnie Foster of the Mt. Tabor Community; three sisters, Judy Gillam and husband Harvey of Lake Village, Shelby Stevens and husband Rex of Danville and Patricia Reed of Vilonia; two grandsons, Blake Wood and Clayton Wood both of Douglas; and two granddaughters, Bailey Ratliff and Alyssa Ratliff both of the Mt. Tabor Community.
