ROBERT E. JAMES, JR., 79, born on November 5, 1925 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Robert and Sirralda Cromeans James, passed away on February 8, 2005 in Houston, Texas.
Robert was a graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston, Class of 1947 at Texas A & M University with a degree in chemical engineering.
Veteran of the U.S. Navy and longtime member of Tallowood Baptist Church, Shriners, Masons, Rotary and Houston Golf Association. He was an avid golfer and loved to travel and was also owner of Acro Tapes.
Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Bettie Jean James; five children; six great-grandchildren and two sisters.
