James T. Summers, 83, died Monday, May 28, 2007, in Fulton. He was born Jan. 7, 1924, to the late Hoyt and Gertrude Reed Summers. He was retired from the Blue Bell Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Beans Ferry Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Syble Smith Summers of Fulton; one son, David Summers (Hilda) of Fulton; three daughters, Brenda Shields (Eric) of Marietta, Suzanne Russell (Randy) of Tupelo and Beth Miller (Johnny) of Saltillo; one brother, Julian Summers (Lucy) of Fulton; two sisters, Betsy Dulaney of Georgia and Laynette Dozier of Fulton; nine grandchildren, Ron Turner (Stephanie), Tina Guntharp (Dereck), Monica McCullough (Jamie), Shane Turner (Kim), Bruce Summers (Stephanie), Craig Waddle (Bree), Stephanie Littrell (Corey), Dustin Miller (Candy) and Adam Miller (Suzanne); great-grandchildren, Taylor Littrell, Tessa Guntharp, Alexis Littrell, Madison Turner, Will Turner, Hunter Miller, Jordyn Turner, Maggie Waddle, Mason Waddle and Carson Miller.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Grayden Summers; a special friend, John Waddle; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Summers and Angie Lou Summers.
Pallbearers will be Ron Turner, Shane Turner, Bruce Summers, Craig Waddle, Dustin Miller, Adam Miller, Ryan Enlow.

FULTON – Syble Clytee Smith Summers, 86, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013, at The Meadows in Fulton. She was born Dec. 13, 1926, to Bruce and Bessie Mae Sumners Smith. She retired from Blue Bell, early in life, after 20 years of service to care for her parents. She was a member of Beans Ferry Church of Christ for 50 years. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and family, sewing, working with her flowers and being a homemaker.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, at Senter Funeral Home with Adam Miller, Johnny Miller and Ryan Ary officiating. Burial is at East Fulton Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, David (Hilda) Summers of Fulton; three daughters, Brenda (Eric) Shields of Fulton, Suzanne Russell of Tupelo and Beth (Johnny) Miller of Saltillo; nine grandchildren, Ron (Faith) Turner of Tupelo, Tina (Derrick) Guntharp of Fulton, Monica ( Jamie) McCollum of Fulton, Shane (Kim) Turner of Fulton, Stephanie (Neil) May of Tupelo, Bruce (Stephanie) Summers of Fulton, Craig (Bree) Waddle of Tupelo, Dustin (Candy) Miller of Saltillo and Adam (Suzanne) Miller of Saltillo; 13 great-grandchildren, Madison Turner of Fulton, Jordyn Turner of Fulton, Tessa Guntharp of Fulton, Will Turner of Fulton, Taylor Dickens of Tupelo, Alexis Littrell of Tupelo, Miles May of Tupelo, Maddison Renee Stewart of Fulton, Maggie Waddle of Tupelo, Mason Waddle of Tupelo, Liddy Miller of Saltillo, Hunter Miller of Saltillo and Carson Miller of Saltillo; sister-in-laws, Lynette Dozier of Fulton, Betsy Dulaney of Acworth, Ga., and Ruby Smith of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
