Theodore enlisted in the Confederate Army 13 August 1861 as a 1st Sgt. in Blythe's 1st Mississippi Infantry Battalion. In November 0f that year he was transferred into Company K, 24th Alabama Infantry Regiment.
Theodore was wounded April 8, 1862 at the Battle of Shiloh. It
appears that he was taken prisoner and died of wounds one day later.
