Issac Brinkley Conwill, had served in the Civil War, as a private in Company D, 12th Mississippi Infantry, which was attached to the Army of Northern Virginia -- originally under Col (later Brig Gen.) Richard Griffith, later in General Kershaw division.  He has a CSA marker in the Providence Cemetery, Itawamba County, MS.
