FAIRVIEW – Hazel Mae Timmons, 83, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Courtyards Community Living Center. She was born May 9, 1930, to Lawrence Goodman and Olaf Kent Sides. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and gardening.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, at Sandy Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Andy Black officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include thee sons, Kelly Timmons (Kristen) and Keith Timmons (Jan), both of Fairview and Russell Timmons of Lady Lake, Fla.; one daughter, Barbara Timmons of Fairview; three sisters, Irene Rogers of Guntown, Nell Anderson of Bethel Springs, Tenn. and Fay Hendrix of Bells, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Michelle Timmons, Kevin Timmons, Kori Timmons, Wesley Timmons and Jason Timmons; 10 great-grandchildren, Ashley Graham, Kyle West, Austin Timmons, Dean Timmons, Bailee Timmons, Nathan Timmons, David Timmons, Samantha Sumner, Tiffany Timmons and Dusty Sumner; and two great-great-grandchildren, Jaycee Graham and Abigail Harmon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucoy Timmons; one son, Terry Timmons; a special friend, Russell Wiles; three brothers, Homer Sides, Bob Sides and Roy Sides; two sisters, Raye Newman and Jo Ann Lowe; and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Timmons.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Timmons, Terry Robinson, David Timmons, Austin Timmons, Bailee Timmons and Wesley Timmons.

Leroy Timmons, 82, of Russellville, Alabama., died January. 18, 2006. He was preceded in death by son, Clovis Timmons; parents, Ira Timmons and Wana Johnson Timmons.
He is survived by wife of 57 years, Annie Mae Timmons, Russellville; sons, Milton Timmons and wife, Judy, Russellville, Raymond Timmons and wife, Wanda, Russellville; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a native of Itawamba County, Mississippi, and had lived in Russellville for the past 54 years. He served three years in Alaska in the U.S. Army during World War II, and four years during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Valley Forge. He retired as a barber and trainer of Tennessee Walking Horses.
