Ann Thompson went into Orange County Court and bound each of her underage children by James Roach to people in the community where they had been born and had lived. This seems to have been in keeping with James' wishes stated in his will that if she remarried that his children be put out to people who would be good to them. son after this she sold her part of James' estate and remarried.
