Jesse had two probable brothers: Thomas Conwill and Isaac Conwill of Bedford and Lincoln Counties, Tennessee. Thomas Conwill was a pensioned War of 1812 Veteran -- served with General John Coffee's 2nd Tennessee Mounted Gunmen at the Battle of New Orleans under Andrew Jackson.
