Thomas Landon Ausbon, 63, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at the North Miss. Medical Center in Tupelo after an extended illness.
He was born July 22, 1941, in Monroe County to Mary Myrtle Hudson Ausbon and the late Thomas Homer Ausbon. He lived his entire life in Monroe County. He was a graduate of Hatley High School. He married Anne Taylor on Aug. 16, 2003. He was a supervisor employed with Amory Garment Company and Block Sportswear with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Riverbend Baptist Church and the Amory Golf Club. He enjoyed golf, fishing and singing.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Myrtle Hudson Ausbon of Amory; his wife, Anne Taylor Ausbon of Amory; one son, Robert Milton "Robbie" Ausbon and his wife, Dawn, of Amory; two daughters, Della Elizabeth Stock and her husband, Jeff, of Goldsboro, N.C., and Amber Nicole Ausbon of Amory; two stepdaughters, Debbie Lampkin of Hamilton and Patti Hill of Aberdeen; two sisters, Shirley Ann Fines and her husband, Tom, of Amory, and Madonna Cole and her husband, Bubba, of Ashville, Ala.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Mitchel Landon "Mickey" Ausbon; and one brother, Robert Wayne Ausbon.
Pallbearers will be the Deacons and men of the Riverbend Baptist Church.
