Bernie Ruth Hawkins, 65, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017, at NMMC in Tupelo. She was born October 24, 1951 to the late Wencil Beam and the late Merlene Sides Beam. She enjoyed being with her granchildren, camping, and playing puzzles.
Survivors include her Sons: Billy Hawkins and Tim Jetton; Daughter, Amanda Hawkins, all of Golden; step-daughters: Suzanne Shannon and Mary Ann Hawkins, Step-son, Randy Hawkins, Sisters: Adoyce Yielding and Eloise (David) Lindsey, Brother, Wayne Beam, Grandsons: "Little" Billy Arron Hawkins, Timothy Laken Jetton, and Jesse (Chassidy) Jetton, several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Hawkins, and a step-son, Roger Hawkins.
Pallbearers will be Little Billy Hawkins, Donnie Wood, John King, Johnnie Yielding, Mark Horn, and Devin Harnage.
